Conwy – 3/4/10
This post is also available in: WelshA team of 18 on Saturday morning with strong support from our Arfon Candidate, Robin and Anthony from Anglesey. Despite their hectic campaign schedules it was great of both (and their supporters) to spend a good four or five hours with us in Conwy.
It was a good solid canvass and we were pleased with both the response and the ground covered. What was obvious from all concerned was a real desire for change. The challenge for the Conservative Party over the next four weeks is to persuade the electorate that we do offer real change and a break with thirteen years of waste, spin and false promises.

can anyone tell me when the MP will hold his consituancy meetings please
Hallo Mr. Bebb,
I have seen your election posters displayed on the derelict Billingon's Garage in Conwy. I'm sure you agree that the Billington's site is a disgrace. There is a move locally to try to purchase the site as a potential people's park, raising funds within the local community and from landfill grants etc. Is this something you would support if you were elected as our MP? Your opposite number in Clwyd West David Jones has taken a keen interest in community matters such as Colwyn Bay Pier. Would you be willing to do the same here in Conwy?
I look forward to your reply.
Peter McFadden, Conwy Valley.
Dear Mr McFadden,
Of course. The work that David has done on community matters in Clwyd West is an example of what can be done when local people and their elected representatives work together. If elected I would be delighted to meet and discuss plans for the use of several sites in Conwy and the Aberconwy constituency which are a drawback to the development of the area.
