First Defeat of the Campaign

This post is also available in: Welsh

Following the John Bright hustings (which I thoroughly enjoyed) on Friday the results have been announced today.

Congratulations to Mike and the Liberals on drawing first blood.  It was a close run thing for second place apparently but I did not even manage that!  So it was;

1. Liberals

2. Labour

3. Conservatives

4. Plaid (with an incredibly small amount of votes which can be summarised as less than 2 but more than 0)

My thanks to the School for a great event, well organised with excellent questions from all participants.

    Thank you Tinker224.

    I enjoyed the event and the questions were interesting and varied. I do feel that Mike and his support for voting at 16 did him no harm!

    Don't worry Guto, I don't think these views really reflect the real political position in Aberconwy.
    Students will have heard of Mike, as he always has his face in the paper, and students haven't yet really formed and strong views on anything, so will vote Liberal as the safe option, so as not to be controverial amongst their friends.
    Only when you have an understanding of real life are you able to nail your colours to a mast.
