Also in attendance were Lord Wyn Roberts of Conwy, former Secretary of State for Wales; Guto Bebb MP; Mark Isherwood AM; Miss Daffodil; Little Miss Daffodil and a number of local Conservative Association members and representatives of the community. Janet said:
“I was absolutely touched and thrilled at the turnout for the official opening of my new constituency office. It was a pleasure to celebrate the occasion among such esteemed guests and valued friends. I would like to pay tribute to our recently appointed Secretary of State for Wales – David Jones MP for finding the time in his hectic schedule to come and honour the community of Llandudno in this way.
“Looking ahead I cannot wait to see the office go from strength to strength as the base for my work in Aberconwy. I hope that constituents will feel that this is their first port of call for engaging with the Assembly and I would like to take this opportunity to reiterate the fact that everyone is welcome to pop-in with their concerns, problems or simply for a cup of tea.”
