I am very shocked to hear of this further down grade. As you are no doubt aware, there was much anger and sadness felt by many residents when the decision was made to down grade from the original Accident and Emergency unit. To learn that this facility is not considered to be worthwhile as a 24 hour provision is very disappointing and does not take into account many of the logistical problems that will affect our residents that you have already highlighted.

I am heartened that you are already on the case and I will most certainly support you in your efforts.
